Reduced Tuition With WUE

The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is a program that allows students from eligible western states to receive reduced tuition at participating universities. UAF is a proud member of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE), which hosts the WUE program and its graduate student equivalent (WRGP). Qualifying first-year and transfer students are welcome and encouraged to check "yes" when asked about WUE on their admission application. To see if you live in an eligible state and learn more details about the program, check out our WUE page.

Come Home to Alaska

Looking for more ways to reduce tuition costs? We have created the Come Home to Alaska program for students who live out of state, but have roots in Alaska. Nonresident students can qualify for in-state tuition if their parents or grandparents are residents of Alaska. Get more details on our program's page.
