If you’re applying directly to UAF (rather than through the Common App or Appily, for example), you can . The application portal is the same for all education levels. Once you’ve made an account, you’ll choose the option related to your admission status, such as transfer, graduate, military/veteran, etc.
We’re excited you’re considering us — welcome! High schoolers have many opportunities through UAF, including dual enrollment and summer education programs. You will need to apply for the program you seek, rather than for typical admission into the college. Find more information about Alaska Advantage and North Star College through the dual enrollment website here.
For students who miss the main application deadline, an extension is offered for a $25 late fee in addition to the application fee.
Before you apply late, consider that classes are starting soon and there will be many things to do quickly. Order or submit all of your transcripts right away, because delays in submitting transcripts will delay financial aid.
If you are unable to attend during your application term, you may delay your admission up to one year after your original application term. Email uaf-admissions@alaska.edu to request to postpone or visit our acceptance reply form.
