Honors House to close June 1 in preparation for move to Rasmuson Library

The UAF Honors College will officially close the Honors House at 1818 Copper Lane on June 1, 2025, as it prepares to move into a new, modern space in the Rasmuson Library later this summer. 2025 Healthy Living lecture series begins June 3

Join horticulturist Julie Riley for a presentation highlighting lilacs in Southcentral Alaska and learn which lilacs are best suited for your yard. The adage, "right plant for the right place," holds true when it comes to planting lilacs. Do you want a plant that will stay short or one that you can see blooming out of your second-story window? Learn to make earrings this summer

UAF Summer Sessions offers a one-day, non-credit beaded earring workshop for adults in June. The workshop is led by local artist Carol Wilbur and meets Saturday, June 14, from noon to 4 p.m., and costs $80. Materials are provided. Spaces are limited. Get more info and register.
