彩神ix官网 Vice Provost and Dean of the Division of Exploratory Studies and Academic Success, Trent Sutton, has appointed Madara Mason as the new director of the Honors College. Mason has served as the interim director of the Honors College since October 2024.

鈥淚'm excited to support our Honors students in finding the often surprising connections that lead to meaningful change, especially when tackling the complex transdisciplinary challenges faced by the communities we serve. Environments that foster deep inquiry through active learning have been a central theme to my work for decades; I look forward to supporting the students, programs and faculty who amplify these strengths at UAF, especially those at the intersections of Arctic research, Indigenous studies, creativity, and innovation,鈥 Mason said.
