IARC Salon: Science to action
The International Arctic Research Center presents its February IARC Salon, "Science to Action," on Feb. 17 at noon. The salon explores the intersection of climate science and policy.
Attendees are encouraged to bring questions and join the conversation on how scientists can be climate advocates, and how science is informing climate policy and action in ²ÊÉñix¹ÙÍø and around Alaska. This month's speakers are:
- Savannah Venetis Fletcher (²ÊÉñix¹ÙÍø North Star Borough assembly member and Alaska Legal Services Native law attorney)
- Terry Chapin (professor emeritus at UAF and author)
