COVID-19 - A new set of challenges

The UA Community Challenge program was launched — before the COVID-19 virus pandemic began — to focus on some of our bigger long-term challenges. Now we are exploring the sudden new issues and opportunities for the innovation and entrepreneurial community in order for us all to be a part of solving immediate problems faced by our communities and current businesses, as well as identifying new opportunities. has found a number of ways to help their health care startups.
If you would like to be a part of a solution, check out the initial COVID-19 challenge opportunities, including a virtual hackathon, listed on the Center ICE Community Challenge site. If you know of a challenge, you can fill out the form on the site to share it with us. The challenge could get you access to the Center ICE Seed Funds to help promote the challenge or develop a specific solution. We are also encouraging people working on prototypes to apply to the , applications are currently due Sunday, March 29.
