Documentary video explores EV adoption in Alaska

Electrified Alaska Poster designA documentary video that explores electric vehicle, or EV, adoption in Alaska will premier in Anchorage next month.

“Electrified Alaska,” created by in collaboration with Alaska’s own award-winning Channel Films, shares insights from Alaska fleet managers, utilities, state and local agencies. See how Alaska companies are incorporating EVs on the job site, hear firsthand experiences from operators and learn how local and state administrators are managing EV adoption and enabling consumer choice

The 30-minute video screening will be followed by a 30-minute panel discussion and networking opportunity.

The project was funded through the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. The project collaborators include Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Alaska Energy Authority, Chugach Electric Association, Delta Leasing, Kotzebue Electric Association, Native Village of Kotzebue, and others, including ACEP’s Michelle Wilber.

When: Thursday, June 5, 2025. Doors open at 1:30 p.m., the program begins at 2:00 p.m.
